Build everyday IT skills
Learn to use a computer, send emails, complete online forms and stay safer online.

Digital inclusion. Confidence. Opportunity.
YouCan is developing practical IT training and one-to-one mentoring for adults with convictions, including people leaving prison, and former Armed Forces personnel.
Our aim is to help people use everyday online services, build independence and prepare for education, training or work.
We’re developing our first programme. Learner places are intended to be free through grant funding. Register your interest to hear when places become available. Dates are still to be confirmed.

What we do
Our planned programme brings together three areas of support.

Learn to use a computer, send emails, complete online forms and stay safer online.

Set personal goals, practise at your own pace and work through barriers with one-to-one encouragement.

Develop a CV, search for opportunities and build digital confidence for work, education or further training.
Who we support
For adults across London and surrounding areas, with service bases in Bexley and Southwark.
Including people leaving prison who want to develop digital skills, rebuild confidence and explore new opportunities.
For veterans who want to refresh their IT skills and feel more confident with everyday digital tasks in civilian life.
Learning with encouragement
You do not need to be confident with technology to take the first step. Our planned approach combines practical learning in small groups with one-to-one mentoring.
